What is virtual appliance?

As a Virtual Appliance, you can run our web application firewall software on your own servers by using the HEIMWALL service. In our Virtual Appliance service, which we offer to serve all types of users specifically, protection has capacity in relation to the amount of CPU and Memory according to the virtual resources you allocate. Many features such as anti-DDoS service and blocking on the chip are not available in this service type.

You can use the HEIMWALL virtual appliance service on VMware and Linux KVM infrastructure.
You can install HEIMWALL at least which server has least 2 Ghz, 4 vCPUs, 16 GB memory and 30 GB disk space. Also you need second server for keep the access log records. Servers has to be connect to internet for receive updates and perform license verification.
You need at least two servers and one access log server to run the HEIMWALL service as a backup. Network configuration must be done in your VRRP network. Technical support on all these issues will be provided by us free of charge.
The pricing will be per vCPU. You can use as many servers as you want or with the number of vCPUs you want, finally the pricing will be based on the total number of vCPUs on your servers.
